Synctoy 1.2 - readonly files on target

Synctoy 1.2 understandably I suppose generates an error when the files you
are attempting to sync are marked readonly on the target.

I use Synctoy to backup up, among other things, a number of Vicual Studio
projects which are marked readonly by default because they are just local
copies of projects held in Sourcesafe.

Any chance of an option to ignore the status of any readonly flags found on
the target?

I've got another want: SyncToy v1.2 requires the .NET Framework 1.1 - which
isn't available on Microsoft's website any more. Now, all you can find is
2.0, and 3.0 is slated to be released soon.

Does SyncToy *really* require the 1.1 version of the Framework, or is that
specifically what the code in SyncToy is searching for? My guess is that
some developer wanted to make sure we all had something newer than version
1.0, so he put a check in there to make sure it was the newer 1.1 ...not
anticipating that another version would come out again.

Can we get that fixed too?

yes, i also wish there was an option to overwrite readonly files on the target.
this is a fairly common situation and synctoy should be able to
make it easy for the user.
