We are runing a small network using Windows 2000
Professional from the server, and Windows XP on the Work
Stations. What we would like to do is syncronize the
passwords from the work stations. As is presently each
person needs to fo to the server and make the vhange to
the password, and then go back to the XP workstation to
change it there. We would like to be able to use the
change network password option from Windows XP Home, or if
necessary purchase a small piece of software to do the job
for us. Does anyone know how to accomplish this task?

The "small piece of software" you refer to is called "Server":
Rather than running your show in a so-called Workgroup
environment, you need to run it in a "Domain" environment.
Microsoft SBS (Small Business Server) is aimed for your
type of office.
