Does anyone know of a free program that will sync two folders on two
differnet computers via a LAN.

If you map the LAN folder to a drive letter, I am pretty sure that
2xplorer, available from http://www.netez.com/2xExplorer/ , will do
the trick.

Be advised that the top link for xplorer2 is a new, and shareware, app
that the author has been working on for quite some time. However, at
the bottom is a link to the 2xploerer page, and on the right the
original 2xplorer (conforming to this forums need for nag/spy/ad free
programming) is available.

Lots of other freeware links that I`m making a note of!

The Windows' Briefcase is quite easy to use.

Open Windows' Explorer and locate the right place/folder that you want
file/folder to be synchronized to (can be in floppy or CD-RW packet
writing format).

Right click > New > Briefcase

Name the briefcase folder.

Now start to copy and paste folder/file from the original location into
this briefcase folder.

If you want to synchronize between the original file/folder with the
briefcase folder :-

Right click briefcase folder > Update All.

Thanks for your help.

Bye for now.
