I've stumbled across a new application by a company called Work Out of Office called Always-On Mail Internet Edition. This app installs on your phone and allows you to synchronise your internet email account (eg yahoo, hotmail, gmail etc...) with your mobile phone or PDA.
The good thing about this software is that it is compatable with over 250 types of mobile phone and PDA and installs in just a couple of minutes.
A trial is downloadable from http://www.workoutofoffice.com/software/internet_edition/
Highly recomend it over Blackberry or other expensive device specific mobile email apps....
