syncing with other comptuer

why can't active sync be written to sync multiple
computers, outlook to outlook, why do we have to buy
software from europe to do this, that doesn't work as
well as active sync works on pda.

Beautifully put.

I suspect the real answer is because MS wants people to run Exchange
server (not appropriate for small groups or home networks).


Fwiw, a kinda kludgey way of doing this *used* to be available in OL2000
using Net Folders. Sadly, MS removed this feature from OL2002.
