Syncing between the laptop & desktop

Does anyone know of a add in that will sync the information between two
machines on a local LAN.

I can import and export contacts and accounts but no historical data is
transfered. I need to two machines to have the same data.

Any feedback on the Public Sync Tool out of Germany would also be appreciated.
