Hi there - is there any way to have the sync function for
offline folders point to somewhere [prefferably D:
partition and not somewhere in C:] else besides the
default - which by the way I cannot see nor find.

TIA - Vic

Only if you buy the W2k resource kit - it has a utility that will let you
move the local cache. Frankly, I've given up on offline folders. For
something that works a LOT better, see www.centered.com - they make some
very inexpensive software called SecondCopy. It's now standard issue on any
corporate laptop I roll out to users. There's a 30-day eval... check it out.
I've seen too much data loss with offline files.

Thank you for your swift reply.
I'll have a look see at Secind Copy - looks good to me from first
impressions
