I have two computers with different files but similar folder structures. Is
there a way to copy files from machine A to machine B and:
- leave any unique files present on machine B that are not on A
- add any files to machine B that are only present on machine A
- update any files on machine B that are present on both with the most
current copy
(leave the existing file on machine B if it is newer, update the file on
machine B
with the version from machine A if it is newer)
- leave any files on machine B that are identical to those on machine A
In essence, I want a merged folder with a comprehensive set of the most
current files as the end result. I have the entire folder structure from
machine A on a USB flash drive, ready to merge into machine B.
Thanks much!
