Thanks for the reference.
I was already aware of the Microsoft knowledge base article referenced on
the
www.slipstick.com page, namely, OL97: Managing a PST for Two Different
Computers. According to that article, the only issue with copying
outlook.pst between two computers is the potential size of the file. Since
I have the two computers networked together that does not present a problem.
However, I did run into several other issues:
1) There is apparently no way to transfer the email account info. The
accounts must be recreated.
2) I had to delete and recreate all of the shortcuts on the Outlook
Shortcuts Bar.
3) All of the contact folders transferred lose the property "Show this
folder as an email address book"
While this can all be fixed, it becomes rather tedious having to do items 2
and 3 each time the outlook.pst file is copied.
