synchronising calendars

we have exchange server and have created public calendars
so that all in the department can see all the others.
this is fine but if a user tries to send a meeting request
and the other accept it it goes into thier default
calendar not thier shared one. is there a way to make the
shared one in the public folder the default one or can we
synchronse between the public one and the default one?

If you include the SMTP (email address) of the
Public folder as a recipient the meeting willl post
itself. Your Exchange Administrator can tell you
what that is.
