HELP PLEAS

I own three pcs one at home one in my office and another in another location 220 km away from home. I also own a laptop. I am a travelling salesman so i constantly use my laptop to record sales, make excel sheets, write word files, and register new customers on outlook

When returning to the office and home i would like to synchronize these info with the rest of my pcs, However i find it extremely difficult trying always to do this. If i fix the synchronisation between my laptop and one of the pcs for example the office when trying to do the same at home it does not work.

Please i need a method so all three pcs and laptop work and synchrinize in harmony. All my pcs use win XP but my laptop win 98

I appreciate any help thank you

George,

I've never done this with three PC's, but do it very successfully with two.

I think you should be able to us Windows XP standard "offline" and
"synchronise" capabilty. Fully described in Help. I think the trick in
your case will be to make sure you respect one of the machine as the
"master" and the rest as "submasters" This is not a setting in Windows.
This is just your conventions.

From wherever "submaster" you last made changes, sinc that machine with
the "master". Then sync all other "submasters".

Better yet, setup a small local area network and put this data on one
machine. Don't replicate all the data to the other machines. Connect
across the network from one workstation to another.

Continue to use your laptopl in "offline" and "sync" manner as you'll be
making changes while "offline".

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
