synchronisation

Hello

While setting up our network Ive come across the following error:

When logging off from the network synchronisation of files occurs
Some files mostly access database files produce an error sayingsomething
like "these offline files cannot be synchronised"
Ive tried switching off the synchronisation options in the synchronisation
manager but the error still occurs
Its not a major problem , more a nuisance.

How can I stop it?

Database files can't be synched. I believe you can uncheck the "Make available offline" property on the file and Windows will stop trying to synch it.

Maybe Ive misunderstood the synchronization thing.
Am I right in thinking that synchronization makes sure that offline files
are kept up to date to the latest version? Offline files being...things like
webpages you want to be able to view offline?
If so synchronization isnt so essential on the network since users save
their files to the server after working on them and offline files arent
really used.
Does that sound right?
