Synching Offline Files

Hi,

I am trying to get the Synchronizing Offline files feature to work with my laptop. I followed all of the directions on how to set this up and created a mapped drive in my computer. It works to some degree. When I create a new file or modify it, it will update to the server. The problem I am having is that if someone else modifies the file while I am away, I cannot access this file. Both me and the other user have read write priveleges to these files. When I try to access the Excel file that the other user has modified, it just hangs and does not open it. Even Ctr Alt Delete and task manager won't end it. I have to hard shut my laptop off.

Any thoughts.

Thanks,

Chuck

This is definately not normal behavior...

Try reinitializing your Offline Files cache and re-enabling offline
files for the directories you use...
