I am trying to sync from a third-party software (Time Matters) to Outlook. I
can sync calendar items from Outlook to Time Matters and task items both
ways. However, I cannot sync from the TM calendar to the Outlook calendar.
The TM program thinks that the sync completes successfully, but nothing shows
up in Outlook. Are there any rights issues that may affect this? Is there a
file in Outlook that I can look at to see if the information is reaching a
certain point?

Have you contacted the vendors of Time Matters? If there is a sync log, I
would expect it to appear in the Time Matters installation folder tree.

I have contacted Time Matters and everything looks right. The TM software
thinks that it has sync'd because if you run the sync again it says there's
nothing to sync.

I can sync all day long without any problem and a few other users can as
well, but the majority of users cannot. For some reason it's just not able
to write to the majority of user's Outlook calendar. I'm really at my wits
end.

Be that as it may, since Time Matters is the add-on, it's most likely Time
Matters' problem. What version are you using. I suspect you need at least
V3, Service Release 2A.

Version 5.0 Pro SR2a. I'm sure you're right about it being TM. It's just
strange that it only effects the calendar and not the tasks. I thought there
might be a setting in Outlook that would prevent writing to the calendar.
Thank you.

Is the calendar the default calendar in Personal Folders or Exchange
mailbox?

I'm not sure how to tell, but it's the typical personal calendar created in
Outlook. I didn't see any checkbox in calendar properties specfiying it as
the default. Am I missing something? Under the Permissions there is a default
user. Should that user have permissions?

Default is defined by the delivery location for mail. Is Personal Folders
or the Exchange mailbox the default location for mail delivery? Is the
calendar in the same delivery location or is it in the non-default store?
