I am looking for a tool that can sync the local cached
domain password (on a remote laptop for example) with the
users password on the domain. Our company has a remote
sales force of about 260 users. Currently, their domain
accounts are set so password never expires. We need to
change this so password expires in 90 days. As soon as we
make the change on these accounts, they will be forced to
change passwords at next logon. Since they initialy logon
to their local machine chached domain account, then
connect to our network through VPN (at which time they
will be forced to change password), their domain password
will become out of sync with their local cached password.
How can I sync the two passwords without having them start
up VPN before logon or use the "Log on using dial-up
connection" option. Is there a tool that can do this?
