Sync issue with Outlook

A user downloaded the updates for Word 2003 yesterday and is now having sync
errors in Outlook. His email account shows that he is receiving mail but it
can't be accessed from his workstation. Everything is fine when I log him on
at another WS so there must be something in the update that is in conflict
with our Exchange Server. He said that after the update restart he received
a message that Business Contact Mngr couldn't run with our version of
Exchange.

He uses the Cache mode and I renamed his .ost file and reconnected. Problem
still exists. The server is showing that it is up to date on all updates.

Anyone have any ideas?
