I've Vista on a domain with offline files. Why is it that SyncCenter doesn't
seem to do anything that XP did? Here are all my observations:
1. SyncCenter indicates that the last sync was on 12/22/07 14:28. It never
progresses?
2. XP would pop-up a window from the system tray indicating when I was
offline. Vista gives me no such indication.
3. XP could show me a listing of all offline files, Vista has no such
listing.
In summary, the only way I can tell if my redirected folders (offline files)
are actually offline or not, is to disconnect the network and see if I can
still access them.
I'm pretty sure it is working, because when I do disconnect from the
network, SyncCenter will indicate once some files become out of sync. But I
must go looking for this information. There is no obvious sign that my
computer went offline.
Any thoughts on this?
