Symbol table incompatibility 98 vs. XP.

Technical paper written in Office 97 Professional Word 97
on Win 98 platform using math symbols and Greek letters
displays incorrect symbols and Greek letters when opened
by Office 97 Professional Word 97 on Win XP platform.

The same situation exists with PowerPoint presentation
written in Office 97 Professional PowerPoint when opened
on Win XP platform using Office 97 Professional PowerPoint.

What font did you use for the symbols? Verify that the same font is
installed on your XP machine.
