Symantec Norton Disk Doctor

I am currently using Symantec's NDD, and I have noticed
that there is NEVER anything in the Norton Protected
Recycle Bin. I checked, and it is not automatically
emptying itself.
Are the files gone, and what if I need to recover them.
Any help on this ???

Try RIGHTclicking the Bin icon and check UNerase wizard.

Do you have just NDD (Norton Disc Doctor) or all of the Norton Utilities?
Try to right click on the recycle bin and click on properties and then click
on the "Norton Protection" tab and make sure the "Enable protection" box is
checked.
