Switching users profile path to local

I'd wish to know, if there's a way to change all the students-group
users profile paths from network to local, instead of modifying all of
them manually (there are thousands of users in the network, so that
would be pretty slow).
I want to do this, because the students profiles are heavily slowing
down the network on logging.

And a second thing: Because there are so many users and if/when all
the profiles are now saving locally, the profiles would take quite
much space so I'd also like to know if there's a way so profile path
could be deleted every time a student logs off.

(I'm sorry if this is not the place for this kind of questions)

You could enable quotas on their roaming profiles... at my school (at least
where I used to go) they quota'ed us at I believe 2 or 5mb per user. I
believe if you have IE5 on the computers, you could set the Internet Pref's
via GP to make the temp internet files folder 0m, and quota the individual
profile folder to a generous 10mb.

Just a suggestion :0

Hi

Thanks for the tip. That would propably be quite handy, though the
school principal asked me to do as I told on the earlier message.
I'm just a trainee here and having kinda hard time with this project
right now :P

Any solutions?
