switching to italian spellcheck

I am running windows xp home version that i bought in USA
and it seems i only have spellcheck in english although
on my keyboard i can easily switch back and forth between
english and Italian. When i go to 'tools' option there is
no choice of languages other than various english ones.
How can I proof read my italian documants?
 
You need a third party Italian dictionary or you need to buy
and install (dual boot) an Italian version of XP.
