i have a new windows xp and i have taught myself to use e-mail and i.m. and
shop and search things, find disgussion boards... i would like to persue a
course in medical coding from my home and the first thing thats listed is to
learn more computer skills. i dont know what my skills are rated right now
to know what else i have to learn to be considered having good computer
skills. i dont want to flunk the basic test! ide love to move foreward with
this in finding a course, and take off from there. thanks so much.

Try your local high school..they often have night classes for adults,
computer classes of all levels, at a fairly reasonable price. The ability to
email and I.M. and general surfing are not really considered computer
skills. Coding is a different animal, and you really need to know more than
emailing, etc.

would you take basic computers or advanced? theres only the two classes
offered here? thanks for the help
