I'm in the process of switching PC's from a workgroup
network to a domain network (win 2000). After the switch
is complete on a specific user's PC, I log on to the
domain as the user. That works fine. I then log off,
and "log on to" the PC as administrator. I go to control
panel and copy the user's "workgroup" profile to their
new "domain" profile in order to keep all of their
original settings. Why is it then that I have to make the
user an administrator in order for all of their settings
to work? If I make them a power user, some settings ex.
desktop background, display logoff, do not work.
