Switching from XP to 2003 Font Text Box Changes

I have recently switched from Powerpoint XP to Powerpoint 2003. In doing so, my text formats have changed. Things that used to fit on one line in 48 pt text will no longer do so
Can anyone suggest what to do

Check Format/Replace Fonts. Do any of them have ??? beside them?

If so, that font is missing from your system, and PPT's chosen replacement
font is causing the sizing problem.

Also to to Tools/Autocorrect and turn off the autofit options. That's
another cause of font-fit problems.
