I've recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook. I'm having trouble receiving email now through Outlook. When I first switched overto Outlook, I noticed that I wasn't receiving emails that I knew had been sent. I re-opened Outlook Express and they were all sitting there in my inbox. I've un-installed Outlook Express from my computer and am still not receiving emails in Outlook that I know have been sent. Any suggestions on how to get this corrected?

Which version of Outlook? Are you clicking Send/Receive? Did your email
accounts get imported from OE into Outlook?

It's Outlook 2000, and the OE was 6.0 (I believe). I can click send / receive and get some emails, but there are still some missing. When I switched to Outlook, I imported the internet mail accounts/settings from OE to Outlook and I imported the emails and contacts too.

How many accounts do you have? Perhaps Outlook is not checking them all if
you are only receiving some of your emails.

outlook needs express - instead of uninstalling, you should have deleted the
email accounts from express.

Do I now need to reinstall Outlook Express and it should work then. Or what are my options now?

Outlook requires Outlook Express to operate correctly. I doubt you really
uninstalled OE.
