Switching Folders in Outlook

I have many different folders in my Outlook in order to sort my
emails. I have noticed over the past month that switching from my
main InBox to another folder takes a long period of time. I used to
be able to switch folder instantly and now it takes upwards of 35 sec
before the folder shows. Anybody else encounter this issue and is
there a fix?
