Switching cards

Phil

I'm going to be replacing my AIW 9800 with an AIW 9600XT shortly. Will I
need to remove and re-install drivers or can I just swap the cards out and
go? Any and all advice/input would be welcome.

I am a firm believer of out with the old in with the new whether compatible
or not.
So use the relevant tools to remove all instances of the old drivers and
install the latest tested version for your new card from the manufacturers
site.
 
I believe that the radeon and AIW family of ATI cards use basically the same
drivers. The catalyst version that came with your card might not be the
latest ones so you can go to ATI's site and download newest ones.
