Switching between ppt & DVD - Problem in screen settings

When I have shown a ppt presentation on 2 screens in note mode - and then
want to show a DVD afterwards (or before) from my laptop and switch back to a
ppt - I have problems with the screen settings - they don't function in the
same way for ppt / DVD.
(I'm using Vista with Office 2007 and use the Media Center to show the DVD's)
I end up messing around with settings and switching the laptop (Fn + F3)
back and forth and generally looking very unprofessional before I eventually
get things working - is there an easier way???

You may want to look at PFCPro, it allows you to play the DVD directly in
PowerPoint. (You can select the exact clip you wish to play.)
