switching between open documents - Word97

Is it possible to enable <ctrl><tab> as a method of switching between open
documents just like <alt><tab> switches between open applications?
If so, how can I add that feature?

FWIW When using Word97, both <tab> and <ctrl><tab> both seem to enter the
tab character.
 
Ctrl+Tab in Word is usually used to use Tab stops in Tables.
Why not use Alt+W to open the Window Menu, then hit the number that
represents the document you want to switch to--all open documents will be
listed at the bottom of the Window Menu.
