Not sure if you made the same mistake I did. I made the
macro for maximize, then when I went into the properties
of the Switchboard, I highlighted and deleted Event
Procedure and attached my macro to the On Open event.
This is not a good move. This was because the event
procedure that I had deleted was important to the running
of the Switchboard. I had to import a copy of my
switchboard that I had saved somewhere else, as some of
my buttons would not work. If you have done the same as
me, and you have not saved a copy of your switchboard,
then make a new one. I then attached the macro to the On
Load event and it works great.
As for the appearance, you can change that in Design
view. The colours you see are just boxes that can be
changed in size, position, and colour. Also, the fonts
can be changed too. Not sure how much you want it to look
different, but you can experiment. I recommend
experimenting with the appearance before you set up the
switchboard - just in case.
