In my database (which is almost finished) I was building a
switchboard. In the middle of working my switchboard (the
default one), I decided it needed to change drastically
and thus I decided to delete it and start with a new one.
I deleted my switchboard in the form menu (of access
2002). When I went to the switchboard manager, it says my
switchboard is still there. My problem... I have since
created a new switchboard and designated it the default
through switchboard manager (tools/switchboard manager).
However, my problem is: I can't see my switchboard from
the form view. This poses a huge problem as I cannot open
and edit my switchboard!!!!! HELP! How can I get the
switchboard to be seen in my forms menu!

Thanks,
Kendra

Interesting Problem :)
So... there can be several reasons for it. First, you may have a second
switchboard, which is hidden. How to view the hidden objects: Click Tools -
Options, the View tab, and check Show Hidden Objects. Then, if something is
hidden, you will be able to see it in the Database window. If you see a form
greyed out, it is hidden. Right-click it, choose Properties, and uncheck
Hidden in Attributes.
Next... if that will not help.
Open your Switchboard in any view. Hit F4 and display the Properties Page.
Click the All tab and check the Allow Form View, Allow Datasheet View, and
Allow Design Changes. If the Property is NO, make it Yes. If not sure what
it does, click in the box and hit F1. The help about the property will be
displayed.
