I am getting a handme down pc. It has everything but a
hardrive. Can I just take my hardrive out of my old pc
ans put it in the new one. Or will this cause some type
of conflicts between drivers. I hope not because I
really don't want to format my hardrive.

If the 'new' pc has a different m/board and chipset then you will
need to do a repair of the xp install (don't use the recovery
console) from the original cd. You will also have to reactivate xp.
