I run XP Home and switched from the initial 'XP Home look'
to 'Windows Classic Style' but now want to switch back.
When I right click the desktop, go to the 'Appearance' tab
only 'Windows Classic style' is offered in the drop down
menu under 'Windows and buttons'.
Under 'Color scheme' there are a number of choices (which
include 'Windows Standard' and 'Windows Classic') but
there is nothing available that suggests it is for XP. I
changed to 'Windows Standard' from 'Windows Classic'.
Under the 'Desktop' tab I have set the 'Background' to
Windows XP.
In 'Task Bar/Start Menu' I've changed from 'Classic Start
Menu' to 'Start Menu'.
After a re-start I notice that the Taskbar still seems to
have a Classic look to it.
Is there some way to get back to the settings and
appearance of the initial XP Home installation?
Thanks
