Using PowerPoint in Presenter View to run a slide show teaching classes in
basic computing, I want to be able to switch from my presentation to another
Microsoft application - e.g. Word or Digitial Image 2006, demonstrate some
element of that application to the class, e.g. how to crop an image using
Digital Image, and then switch back to my PowerPoint presentation in
Prestenter View at the last slide viewed. Is this possible?

Thanks for any clues!

Hey Richard

You could use an action setting to launch another application or a
particular file. You can add an action button from the slide show menu, or
add an action setting to an autoshape, text box, picture etc.

Hope that helps. Post back if you need more info.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are ... um ... simplest. <g>

Start Digital Image first, then start your presentation.

When the time is right, press Alt+Tab until the Digital Image icon is
highlighted then let go of the keys. Bingo. Do your demo, then Alt+Tab back
to PPT.

It's best to have as few other programs running as possible.
