Swen but not forgotten!

Hi.
Thanks for all the help on the SWEN virus, we got rid of it okay using the
symantec device. Unfortunately I'm now getting about 120 security patch and
failed message delivery spams an hour. I know these are common, and
everyone's getting hit by them, but is everyone getting this many - 100+
every hour? Is it connected to the virus, and is there anything, other than
message rules, that I can do to get rid of them. My ISP's inbox capacity
isn't huge and most of my authentic emails are bouncing because it's filling
up quicker than I can empty it! Any ideas? TIA.
 
Look up previous threads on this newsgroup that show you how to activate
message rules, especially the one that deselects any messages not actually
addressed to your inbox. That worked for me - I haven't got one of these in
days.

I hardly see any now, from a high of 140+ per hour. I use mailwasher,
set up my blacklist to delete automatically, and to blacklist any mail
from the following:

*@updates.*
*@terra.*.*
*@technet.*
*@support.*
*@rocketmail.*
*@puremail.*
*@newsletters.*
*@newsletter.*
*@news.*
*@netmail.*
*@mxserver.*
*@msn.*
*@msdn.*
*@ms.*
*@microsoft.*
*@freemail.*
*@confidence.*
*@bulletin.*
*@bigfoot.*
*@bailml.*
*@america*
*@advisor.*
*@*_msdn.*
*@*_msn.*
mailerservice@yahoo.*

Seems to get 99.9% of the buggers!

same here....worked for me....havent seen hide nor hair of Swen in days...
