Swap product keys between 2 machines?

Here's my predicament... installed Vista Ultimate on my home theater PC;
installed Vista Home premium on my office computer. Both installations are
successfully activated. Now I am kicking myself for not having installed
Ultimate on my office machine... never realized how "crippled" the Home
Premium version was until I found out that there is no fax capability not to
mention other things that were omitted from that version.
Scanning the web regarding licensing it sounds like I could possibly swap
these installs (using change product key?) and reactivate both computers.
Does anyone have experience with this?
I would really prefer to keep the machines in their respective locations,
rather than swap the computers. Thanks for any input.

Richard may know something I don't, but as to XP's I've installed, I've
never had any trouble using a product key that was legitimate on any CD.
The rule still holds one XP or Vista license per machine. Perhpas you need
to call in, but I never have with XP. Maybe Vista activation is different,
but I'll bet you might be able to swap product keys which really determine
the edition.
