Due to repetitive motion injuries to both wrists and shoulders, I find it
neccesary to swap the hand I use for my mouse on a frequent basis. Is there
a quick and dirty way to swap the left & right mouse buttons without having
to wade through alot of menus?

In LuDean Marvin had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

Hmm...

Start
Run
(Or press WinKey + R)
Type "control mouse" (no quotes)
Press Enter

You can swap the buttons right there. Is that "workable" for you perhaps?

If you want you can open the control panel and right click on the mouse
applet and select create a shortcut. That will put a shortcut on the
desktop. Additionally, from there, you can right click on that shortcut and
assign keys to it like CRTL + SHIFT + M or something.

I sort of, lightly, get into it here:

Except, well, the picture's not showing up... How odd.

Update on this problem...

What you suggested really wasn't what I was hoping for, but for those who
are interested, I did find a solution... a program I found on the internet
titled SwapMouseButtons now allows me to swap the mouse buttons by pressing
Ctrl - F12 (or another key combination if I want to).

The progam does have one glitch however... I have a MS multimedia keyboard
whose default setting for the F-Lock is "enhanced". This means that if I
want to use the F keys for their "normal" functions, I have to flip the
F-Lock. "Great!" I thought, "I'm suffering from repetitive motion injuries,
and I have yet another key to press!" I solved this problem with a reg file
that remaps all the function keys to their "proper" assignments. This reg
file can be found here:

There are several versions of the file depending on what version of MS
keyboard and whether it connects via a USB or ps2 port.
