I have been having a problem with CorelDraw 11. I have
been told by the tech's at CorelDraw to increase my swap
file size. I have looked every where I can think of, and
can not find the information.

Thanks

Open Control Panel/System/Advanced Tab. In the performance box, click the
Settings Button/Advanced tab and in the Virtual Memory box, click Change.

Well if you use XP Home Edition then go to : right click
on my computer/select properties/select the top right
tab, which shouls be advanced/select the Performance ,it
sholud be the first thing you see after you click on
advanced. Then in the new window you will see the
memory/page file settings. Just be sure to follow the
instructions you were given for changing the size or you
will have problems. if not sure go to www.blackviper.com
and check for further info on this.

Hi Elroy,

Well, 1st of all WinXP handles the swap file automatically, and it defaults
to using the free space on your hard drive as it's 'size'. If you need to
increase the size of your swap file, you either need to make some room on
your existing drive or add another drive to your system and point WinXP to
it for the swap file.

How big of a hard drive do you have now and how much space is free?
