SVideo and Laptop problem - No color

Hi,

I have a S Video cable that connects from my laptop to my tvs A/V plugs
in the front. I tested this on my friend's laptop and he had no
problem with it working properly. However, when I connect it to my
laptop, I get no color whatsoever, it's all black and white, and the
picture itself is very blurry with lots of lines and it is cut off.
The video card in my laptop is a ATI Radeon Xpress 200 and I have a HP
laptop.

If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like a cable or connector problem. Also, you may have to
"select" the S-Video input on the TV set in some onscreen menu.
