So, can England win tomorrow?
Will this be the start of our road to World Cup victory?
Or is this the last game for Sven?

I think we can win it tomorrow, but I don't think we can go all the way unless we pull something special out of the bag. Argentina are on fire, and we've not faced any teams of that class in the competition (although there was the encouraging friendly).

Fingers Crossed anyway :D

Ecuador, although its going to be 35C, so that won't help us!

Thats all we need ...i really do feel we are so much up against it..forget the hype that we will win by 2 goals this is going to be really tricky.

Some facts

1. We are no world beaters
2. English wilt in heat (even our tarmac melts)
3.Sven hasn`t a clue
4. Rooney is not match fit for a rainy day in Manchester never mind tropical weather in Germany.
5. Owen Hargreaves needs to prove most people wrong although he did play well against sweden and he kept the midfield solid( more than can be said for our defence)

Sven seems to think the heats a problem thats why he will probably play Michael carrick in midfield because its imperative we dont chase the game otherwise we will wilt. Carrick is as good as anybody for winning the ball and doing the simple things thats why we will play 5 in midfield. Ecuadors attacking full backs need to be kept in check so as not to stretch the game so on the left the Cole boys should be capable of stemming that threat and on the right Hargreaves as Right back and Carrick should quell that part.
We then have Beckham , Gerrard and lampard to get forward and hopefully set up Rooney or score themselves ???

The heat as Ian said is a big worry ...Blisters were evident after our opener against South american Opposition and this will be more of the same .

no I dont think we will win
I hope I am WRONG!!!!

Equador are a very strong, pacey and underated side
I really really hope we can beat them!!!
