I have multiple sessions of Svchost.exe that are running
at the same time. One of them has caused my CPU to be
pegged at 100%. Any suggestions on what could have
happened.

Multiple sessions of Svchost is normal, but having one of
them use 100% of your CPU is not. One of the reasons for
svchost doing that is the 'blaster' virus (or one of its
spin-offs). You should update and run your anti-virus
program.

If it doesn't find anything try a trojan scan at:
http://www.trojanscan.com/trojanscan/scanner.htm

You will be able to locate 'Ad-Aware' and 'Spybot' by
searching in Google. Update and use both weekly.
SpywareBlaster is also worth having.
