Looks like someone already asked but the link provided is
no help for the problem.

When I install winXP corporate edition, It works quite
fine, but since I try to update it through the microsoft
update site, I reboot and find out that a svchost.exe is
consuming all the CPU resource. this is considerably
lowering the machine performance as you can guess.
What can i do?
Is the problem solved?

As a matter of fact, I already uninstalled and
reinstalled winXP 3 times for this problem and I
identified it quite well : before update : works fine,
after : svchost hunger for CPU time.

Please help!

Windows XP is sold in two main versions:

1. Windows XP Home Edition
2. Windows XP Professional
3. Microsoft does not offer a "Corporate Version" of Windows XP.
4. The so-called "Corporate Version" is not a legitimate Windows XP version,
hence, there is zero <0> support.
