svchost.exe error driving me insaine

I'll cut a long story short.
New drive fresh install of win2k.. installed sp4.
isdn dial up once connected gives me the svchoast.exe hads
generated errors and bla bla bla .. after about 5 mins.
This was fixed in SP2 !
Sould I try intalling SP1 then 2 then 3 then 4 to stop
this ?
I know it works because old drive (Win2k sp4) works fine..
same kit.
Help me please.

I've seen that problem with a version of the RPC exploit (the same exploit
that Blaster used). I'd start by going to Windows Update and verifying that
your fixes are up to date.

*Hangs head in shame*
I can't understand how.. but blaster was the cause, must
of got probed testing isdn dial up for 10 mins ! whats the
chance of that ?
Thanks all...Taught me a lesson.. however unlikely..check
anyway.
