The instruction at "0x77f51c96" referenced memory
at "0x00000010". The memory could not be "written".

Does anyone know what this means or how i can fix it? The
window keeps popping up on my computer for what seems
like no good reason, and what ever i click i end up with
a bluescreen error :S most confusing for little old me.
help me please

Alex, I've just had a similar problem. It was related to
the Shell Hardware Detection service.

I did the following:-
Cancelled the message when it came up.
Did Start then Run then typed msconfig
Went to the service tab and unchecked the one called
Shell Hardware Detection.

Restarted when it asked me.

That got to the bottom of the problem. Howeverm I've no
idea how to fix it and I've just posted on hear again to
see if anyone can help.

Bren
