Getting this dialogue box coming up and unable to use my system. Any ideas of
how to get around this? I have not loaded up any new software/hardware. I
have uptodate Nortons. Running XP Home SP2. I have dual processor and 1GB
RAM. Please help as I can't find anything on web.

thanks Jacqui

Reinstalling SP2 will help alot
Happend in my old school once and reinstalled sp2 worked fine

Thanks for your help. I will try. Although I disabled the automatic window
updates, manually updated and system seems to be working fine. I haven't put
the auto option back on to see what will happen. Appreciate your help.

"I just resolved my issue by turning off automatic updates, reboot, then
manually going to windows updates and installing the updates, turing on
automatic updates, reboot."
I wonder why Microsoft dosn't know this ?

It seems that code has to do with some sort of Pentium program error
detection. I would assume that my machine failed to autoinstall an update
and this error was the result...please try and I hope this helps you out.
