Svchosl....how to get rid of it?

hi
windows xp pro/32 service pack 3
Problem:
1.
in start up i have file called svchosl.exe..
this file cause ....NO DISK....annoying nag each time i boot my pc
i uncheck it ..and there is no problem...but is any way to remove it
for good?
2.
when i restart my pc after loading it is opening one of my folder..
i couldnt find anything related to the name of this folder in startup
menu...it is not big deal..but just drive me mad that i cant fix it...
