Hello All

I'm just wondering... is there a lot of free stuff out there for Mac? Any
top sites that show you where it all is?

Thx.

Which Mac OS?

Mark S.

Any OS. I don't have a Mac. I'm just wondering if there is nearly as much
stuff out there for Mac as there is for Windows systems.

In short as you probably can guess, No. Since OS X came out, the open
source sofftware (GNU/GPL can now be ported to Macs. You need a fairly
new machine to run OS X (< about 6 years old) Linux of course can be run
on Macs and all that goes with it. There are freeware programs which I
use in Windows 98 of which there is no counterpart (freeware or
otherwise) available for any other OS. For most things though there is
freeware to get the job done for the Mac, just not the selection.

Thanks Mark
