I have a mixed network containing win2k domain
controllers running active directory, win2k member
servers, and win2k workgroup servers. I installed
software update services on a win2k member server and
placed it in the domain. The SUS client was installed
locally on the clients and servers and configured using
the local computer policy (gpedit.msc). Group policy
through active directory was not used due to my
limitation with the workgroup servers. All client
computers and servers in the domain are recieving updates
but the clients and servers in the workgroup will not
update. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi!

I would suggest to repost to newsgroup;

microsoft.public.softwareupdatesvcs

with a "snip" of clients windowsupdate.log file and
a "snip" of servers www log if there are some lines
regarding those clients. Also client register settings
could be an issue.
Check that BITS service is up and running on clients.
Is DNS OK on clients, you can ping SUS server (name used
in register)?
Is anonymous access granted on your IIS server?
