Hello,

I had a working SUS installation on our server. Then I Installed Lotus
Domino to the same server. Domino's HTTP server reserves the port 80 so the
IIS default web site, under witch the SUS is installed, cannot be started.

Can I change the Default Web Site listening port from 80 to something else?
Can the client computers connect to SUS server if it's configured for
non-default port? (I think I read somewhere that clients can only connect to
port 80).

Hello Ellak,
You may want to ping the Windows Update newsgroup for these answers. The
whitepaper is included on your default SUS page. It should provide you
with the answers you're looking for.

Page 23 in the whitepaper link above states the following...

Note: Whether automatically or manually configured, content distribution
points must always use port 80. You cannot use any port other than 80 for a
content distribution point.

You may need to either remove Notes or configure Notes to use another port.

Another option would be to add an additional IP address to the network card,
and bind the SUS website to operate on <newip> port 80. Reconfigure the
clients to access SUS using this new IP Address, while users can still
access the Domino HTTP on <oldIP> port 80
