Surfing and downloading history

Hello Group
I would like to know how to remove the surfing and downloading history
from IE6.

In IE go to Tools...Internet Options...General tab, click the Clear History
button.

Thanks for your reply Jon...I think clearing up sorts ( visited
pages ) will suffice for the time being. I have to study carefully
that links that you stated as I might screw up some files ......
